m240 ammo?

does the 100rd m240 mag only drop at barracks and heli crash sites? Ive been carrying this huge m240 around and havent found any ammo for it since i left the barracks.

That's weird, I find a lot pretty much anywhere, even found some on the roof of cherno city hall and in restaurants.

I have found way more 200rd boxes than 100rd in my travels, and they are everywhere, yes.

Usually military spawns but they have a chance to spawn anywhere.

You can't miss them, they are huge green ammo boxes laying on their sides.

Try looking in the ammo boxes. They're pretty much common from what I've gathered. Just be sure to look in the boxes as they can be... interpreted as another item. Made that mistake many times myself.

You can find it almost anywhere when you don't need it.

One of my friends mentioned something about heavy industrial areas have a very small dropchance of them aswell.

There is like a 3% for military gear to spawn in an industrial zone. and 1% that one of those items spawning is a m240/m249 belt.
