I think you are correct.

A full hour of night is far too long, if night was 30 minutes I would stay on the server, settle in somewhere, and get on with repairing my gear/ loading mags/ sorting my inventory/ crafting/ cooking etc. and the sun would probably be close to rising by the time I had finished.

At the moment I just server hop with my fingers crossed for daytime. I would prefer not to do that.

Yeah, we used to have 15 minute night on xbox, but that was too short. 

But as many has said, i can take an hour of darkness if i get 4+ hours of day. 

2 hours is waaaaaay too little. 

I'm hoping for 5:1
