Serpentice 0 Posted July 5, 2012 First off. When I run DayZ I am always in first person. In all the videos I see it is a third person view. Is there a simple control to fix this(I've tried to find one) or did I just mess something up when installing and downloading updates. The only way I can run the game is through the 6 updater(not launcher) and that leads me to believe something is wrong. I've done the beta update and I have 1.6 for Arma II OA. Second. I havent been able to have a gun and the right ammo at the same time yet. I'm still getting used to sneaking around. One thing that is making this hard for me is the fact that zombies can run right through closed doors or even walls it seems like at times. I mght just be feeling this way because I have no way to defend myself. And for me when I'm trying to find a gun if I aggro one zombie does that mean I'm automatically screwed? Or is there a way to lose them without killing them? Third. I cant find food In this game at all. I understand the whole killing animals thing but i need a functional weapon to do so.
