DagiWeh 34 Posted April 18, 2019 This server is only for the toughest and most dedicated DayZ players, for here you can experience the apocalypse at its worst with only ONE LIFE! Taste the fear and feel the adrenalin on this server where every step could literally be your last! Food is scarce, weapons even scarcer. Hordes of infected roam the cities and huge wolf packs the wild and clouds of radioactivity are your unseen enemy. How long can you last in these circumstances? What are you willing to sacrifice? Do you play as lone wolf, cautious in the shadows? Or do you seek strength in numbers and endeavour to trust other players in this hostile environment? No matter how you decide, it will be a challenge most players will not survive. On GermanDayZ.de OneLife we offer a unique experience. We currently play in server cycles of two weeks. That means if you die you are banned for the reminder of the cycle from the server. After these two weeks we publish a map with detailed statistics on players deaths, kills, players who fell to wildlife, who were victims of hit and runs or good old-fashioned brawls and so on. The survivors are counted as well as the dead, and we crown the player who managed to survive the longest. Currently, the record is at 45.8 hours... not much you might say, but then you haven't played on GermanDayZ.de OneLife before, have you? 😋 We are aware that this concept is not for the masses, however we believe that this is a pure form of DayZ and how it should be played. In the future we want to add further statistics for hunting, farming, medical assistance among other players, killed zombies and so on. But we depend on Bohemia Interactive to expand their logs. If you can get along with people who speak English with a little (or in a few cases a heavy) accent, then you are more than welcome! No idea, what the ping is from your location to our server though. DagiWeh 34 Posted April 27, 2019 The new server cycle is now running for 4 weeks. We already have plans for the next round with far-reaching changes for the server, but they still need to be tested. So there are only a few "minor" innovations for the round that started yesterday. If you wanna try your luck in the harsh conditions of GermanDayZ.de OneLife you can do so until May 23. May the odds be ever in your favor! 😋 Changes: New contaminated zones Map Change WINTER IS COMING! Number of weapons, ammo, food, animals further adapted New mods: Winter_Chernarus Cl0ud's Winter Gear MilitarySnowgear Radiation Zone Dark night We noticed there is still a bug with the Winter mod that keeps players from getting warmed by the fire. DagiWeh 34 Posted April 28, 2019 A few impressions from this round's winter mod... kudos to the creators of the Winrter_Chernarus mod! It makes the OneLife server even more demanding. DagiWeh 34 Posted April 28, 2019 As of yet there is no way for server owners to manipulate weather / the seasons in an easy way. The winter mod basically does it all (which is why it is so f***ing amazing!). There is a Summer Mod as well, but that one is purely a visual adjustment. If some creative modders, or Bohemia themselves, come up with a working seasons system (incl. temperature, crops, etc.) we would love to have "the whole" year on our server. DagiWeh 34 Posted April 29, 2019 (edited) Yeah we know, that fruit is still too plentiful, especially if you spend some time at the same location. We are working on adjusting this. Edit: With the re-start at 12:00 PM GMT+1 apple spawn should be drastically reduced. If this works out as expected we will adjust the rest of the fruits as well. kopo79 426 Posted June 23, 2019 just tested this server and almost freezed to death...is spring coming when in server? it would be best option to take off fruits at winter but you could collect them at summer and autumn...same as mushrooms. its just immersion killing when i found pears in snow... so like collect food at summer and autumn prepare for winter.
