What I would like to see would be waterpumps you can build yourself.

This could require various parts like a ground drill to dig for water, waterpipes for underground and pump parts(base and handle) for above ground.

I'm not sure how hard this would be to implement but it would add greatly to basebuilding.

In general I like the idea, but I would go for a more improvised rain catcher. Which, obviously, fills when it is raining. Nevertheless, I do like the idea of being able to receive water in a certain way in a base
