Friend dies after logging

My friend has died 2 times now for no reason we can find, one time he got kicked and came back and was dead. Another time he left and rejoined and was dead as well. Wondering if it’s just a bug or if he’s doing something wrong?

Your friend either re-logged while restrained, was bleeding out badly and happened to die when logging in or out, was on a ladder when he disconnected, was in too-close proximity to a rooster (joke) or was hit by a very uncanny long distance shot, twice... Or any mix of these possibilities.
