Aircraft, Bows and ghillie

I have recently came back to Dayz SA and have been loving it so much especially now that  the performance is higher, hitreg better and the graphics somehow even more amazing.

 

I read sometime back that aircraft were in development, these were the Hummingbird as well as some aircraft that i think was a two seat radial engine monoplane made by a Czech aircraft company, i was wondering as to what the progress was on this as flying in Arma 2 Dayz Mod is what really caused me to play Arma up to 4000+ hours.

I would also like to know because with the introduction of bases it would make some sense to have a fast means of transport from the wilderness to civilisation instead of having to run around everywhere (the run actually is not as bad as i remember).

As for Ghillie suits i hear they are still craftable however they cannot be spray painted because the cans were removed from the game and as such the only suit you can craft is a tan one, i'm wondering what the eta on that is because it seems a bit wrong to be running around in a sand coloured suit on a woodland map.

 

And the last thing which was i was itching to try but was sorely disappointed to find out it was removed was the make shift bow and arrows, with finding guns and ammo taking a fair amount of time as you do have to run around a lot and search in a lot of places, it would make sense to be able to craft a ranged weapon to defend yourself from zombies or players at a distance, or even to hunt animals! i hope this could be re introduced soon as it also provides the opportunity for steal kills if you are skilled enough.

Eugen has said that they were going to release some documentation outlining their road map for post-1.0 work sometime early this year.  I don't know how specific they are going to get, such as this weapon first, that weapon next kind of thing, but we'll hopefully know more soon as to what things will be added in 2019.

It will be interesting to see what is up and coming, i know that modding has greatly improved the playerbase' interest again, with the Hitreg and lag being fixed i would suspect that implementing the guns they had to remove would likely be at the top of that list, wonder if crossbows like in the Dayz mod for arma 3 will make its way in, different bolts like, poison, fire and broad tipped bolts would certainly be interesting, hell even being able to use a dead zombie to taint a bolt would be interesting if you wanted to infect a player.
