Setting hotbar with hovering

Maybe it would be helpful if we could set items to hotbar, while in the inventory screen, with the number of the key, by hovering over the item.

For example, you have a stone knife in your backpack. You hover your pointer, while in the inventory, over your stone knife. You tap "2". Hotbar "2" is now set to stone knife.
