I have m4 and ammo but I can never find the magazines.  I have an akm with scope ammo and mag but idk how to switch to full auto.  Which is better m4 or akm?

I'm not sure if one is better than the other. Personally prefer the m4 because I prefer the acog scope. Mags for both are found in barracks and military tents but you'll probably also find lots in sniper towers around military base perimeters.
