dcing under fire in chicago 39

2 friends and I were in stary sobor looting the military tents. 1 of the friends had a barret 50 cal sniper on one of the hills covering us. He was killed from behind and so my remaining friend and I went in that direction to take out the bandit. I found the individual looting all our tools and i opened fire on him. He immediately logged out.

Time of incident:~1430PST on July 4th, 2012.

Name of friend that was killed: Mike

Name of person who dced in combat: unknown (should show in server logs)

Proof: kinda hard to take screenshots when they logout so fast, but i can have the 2 friends that were with me corroborate the story.

DCing to avoid death is getting really annoying. Some people are doing it so quickly I think they have macros setup for it or something. I fired at someone at NW airfield yesterday and as soon as they hit the dirt going prone they DC'd. There was no lag so I don't think it was from desync or anything like that.

Regarding your post, I don't think this will really go anywhere unfortunately. Not sure if there is enough power to investigate more minor offences..
