Bunch of questions

Recommended Posts

Alright, I really hope someone can answer these.
Mind you, some of them are simple and probably stupid, I just chucked everything that was on my mind.

I play on Experimental version. 0.63
Big thanks to anyone that can answer any of these.

  1. Are active events still a thing? Helicopter crashes?
  2. Are the confirmed weapons in the game or yet to come? Like the ones listed all the way down https://dayz.gamepedia.com/Weapons
If they are in the game, which ones?
  3. How do you make the part of the campfire where you can use the cooking pot.
  4. Is experimental version also going to get a wipe on the 13th?
  5. Are wolves in?
  6. Does Stable Branch have content that Experimental doesn't?
  7. I pressed R while holding the Izh 18 Rifle, the round from the chamber ejected. Was it supposed to go in my Inventory, On the ground or disappear?
  8. Are the explosives still in the game? Experimental or stable. Smokes, Grenades and Landmines, etc?
  9. Why doesn't the servers show the exact number of players? Is it to prevent some kind of cheating or?
And how many players does "Low" mean?
  10. Any confirmed date for the Helicopters?

That's all I had on my mind.
Any extra information will be VERY much appreciated

I can answer these for you:

  1. There are heli crash sites in the game, but they aren't events as such (i.e. you don't see them crash).
  2. Only a fraction of the guns on that list are in the game at the moment -- SVD, AK, UMP, some shotties, Mosin, MP5, M4, FNX, CR75 and Makarov are in.
  3. I don't bother with that, it's more fun to cook it on a stick.
  4. I would think so, yes.
  5. Wolves are in, but are a bit derpy like the infected -- for example, wolves can bite you even when you're inside the car.
  6. Currently, Stable branch is a few patches behind what Experimental has -- the current Stable patch has the "I can't hear my gunshots" sound bug for example.
  7. I believe it should go into your inventory if you have space for it, otherwise, on the ground if you don't.
  8. Throwing isn't in right now, so grenades are pointless.  Land mines can be planted and they do explode, however.
  9. This was a decision BI made a while back and I don't really understand why.  You can use DayZ Spy website to see the exact number if you want.  "Low" depends on how many slots there are on the server.
  10. Helicopters will appear sometime in 2019 hopefully -- devs have said helis and bicycles will be in post-1.0 and helis will most likely come first because they are easier to implement apparently.

Thank you very much. Helped a lot.
