Burried items (how it works)

Another thing? Does anyone know how long burried item remain undergroung untill they ruin/if they ruin underground? And do they remain burried after pleyer  wipe?

In theory it should remain there until someone either digs it up, or the character is wiped because of updates - but the devs hav stated that bases and such is not 100% persistent right now and some people have complained about their stuff disappearing when the server resets.

I have not have any problems with it yet.
