hombrecz 832 Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) Personally I'm ok with people shooting at me in Stary or at NWA since its the place where best guns are.What irks me most is when somebody kills me near Kamyshovo, when I have nothing but flashlight.Happened again just yesterday, I was happy that I finally manage to meet my friend, we were chatting and commenting how silly our avatars look like (me having bearded guy with reading glasses) and then BAM, BAM...we were dead.Rather harsh first experience for my buddy.edit:ok this post is about Balota. Its very dangerous place with these 4 deer stands, you just have to assume everyone will try to murder you the same way as they would at Stary Sobor (except with low quality weapons). The "correct" way to play is the scenario where the OP doesn't die in a high risk area. Sorry you died, if your character means that much to you then you should avoid high risk areas and you probably will live a longer.This is a dangerous game, and many people like it that way. Rocket has stated many times that PVP is integral to the game, and he doesn't mean the kind of pvp where you can stay in a safezone until you decide you are ready to interact with the pvp. Living longer than an hour or two involves staying out of major cities and pvp hotspots until you have a firm grasp on the game and the gear to back it up. Just because people get enjoyment from a certain way of playing, doesn't mean they're going to grow up to be a serial killer or something and quite honestly, your post scares me. You scare me. If anything, you're the one that seems like you're flirting with the full-retard line.I'm 26 years old, with a child, a fiance, as well as having gone to college and I make more than enough money to be happy with my life currently, and I'm a person who doesn't have any enemies in the real world as I get along with everyone. I play a bandit, and I shoot on sight. I may not always shoot people with just a pistol, but if they happen to look my way, or don't respond to me telling them to "holster" their weapon, or drop it.... I'm going to put them out. Why? Because I can't look through a computer monitor and tell just how close their finger is hovering over their left mouse button -- so I remove the problem before it has a chance to begin. I'm pretty sure I'm making it in the real world too, and I'm fairly certain I had no self-esteem issues while growing up. So, I really don't know how you can make baseless accusations like that. To each his own.My apologies that you became frightened after reading my post, possibly you should not read dayz forums anymore? Also read a little closer .....what I said : "I respect bandits killing for material gains and removing potential threats, but killing unarmed newbs is despicable and shameful."
