Any guides for people completely new to modding DayZ? I saw that your guide assumes that whoever reads it should have prior knowledge about modding these, so if you know any guides that would be more useful to someone new to this it would be appreciated, thanks :).

@1para{god-father}

BI just released modding tools, so install them and use this tools instead of A3 tools. i dont think u will be able to use A3 Apex assets since Apex is a DLC for A3 and is binarized.

@poodude28   you can follow theses guides as they are the samne for Dayz to make a terrain

@Funkdoc  - yep thanks the tools are actual the same as A3 tools    -  so if you know A3 you can use dayz  I think it is just the packing that would be different

 and the mesh.

From my understanding alot of the things in this guide are not required or are pretty different for DayZ. While its a great source, it may lead to some confusion for people starting out, or trying to familiarize themselves with how the new engine and tools work.
