TheVampireBat 1 Posted September 24, 2018 (edited) Is it possible to run server outside of steam? I am wanting to run a server on a separate machine to the one I will be using to play on. Obviously when I try to start the game on my desktop, my other PC is forced to log out and closing the server ? Is there a way around this? dracondark 2 Posted September 24, 2018 i don't think you even need steam to make the server work as i run it on a machine with just a simple .bat file and the server has no need for steam to be running to have it load i am able to log in and play fine. i could be wrong as i have steam installed just not running while the server is running.
