Server Being Reported as Public Shard

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I've setup DayZ SA according to all the guides. Everything seems to work fine, apart from a couple of issues that I hope someone can shed some light on:

1. Server is being reported as a Public Shard and not a Private Shard.
2. Server version is being reported as 63.0 with no build number at the end like the rest of the servers (63.148743 - Not sure how big of deal this is really).

Has anyone seen this behavior? I did see a previous post about the version number somewhere, but I can't seem to find it now. The server isn't showing up in the server list in DayZ either, and I'm wondering if it's because of the two aforementioned issues?

Thanks in advance!

I'm working on the restarter as well, let me know if you get it figured out.  I'm half way there with Bec, I just need to figure out the right Bat scripts.

I have 2300-2309 open right now. 3389 is Microsoft RDP, so not sure why that would be open? I'll give it a shot just to say I did though :D

Got it reporting properly, and showing up in the server list now.

Here was the issue in case anyone also runs into this problem:

I had the Steam Query Port (27016) forwarded, but I accidentally set it to TCP. This is a UDP port, and as soon as I switched it the server showed up on the list and is now reporting properly.

Thanks!
