Playing DayZ in singleplayer mode.

Like, get the mission and play it alone, maybe LAN with some pals?

Don't believe so. I know there are a few co-op/solo zombie apocalypse scenerios on Armaholic, though.

Rocket has mentioned that there might be a possibility in the future of a "DayZ lite" version where people can host the mod for them self. Until then, i guess you just need to stick to the online servers.

Zombie spawns and character data require a sync with the master server, which is currently not possible in single player or LAN at the moment.

I believe Rocket has mentioned the possibility of a single player DayZ 'lite' in the future if there's enough interest.

nice idear, a coop version should be cool too

where the char data saved on your own pc or server

so u can train it togheter or just play it togheter without getting sniped from mr bandit
