Weapons Dissapearing?

Anyone had equipped/In hand or Inventory weapons dissapear on them?

Twice now today on 2 seperate occasions I have had a weapon dissapear on me, One was a SVD the other a silenced IJ70, I could care less about the makarov going missing but the SVD is a rare drop I found at a Heli crash site.  In both instances that the weapons dissapeared I was left with just the mag that was in it. I know this as i always carry 2 clips/mags per gun on me (1 spare and 1 loaded) and both times gun went missing i had 2 clips/mags in my inventory. When the SVD went missing it was about 12 hours approximately since I'd last logged in but only a matter of minutes of changing from 1 server to the other when the Silenced Makarov IJ70 dissapeared is this a bug?  or hackers??  I haven't played Dayz since Arma 2 when hacking was extremely prevelent and detremental to the mod. Was wondering whether it is a problem that tranfered to Dayz Standalone and now console or if this is just a common/rare bug.

Any Info would be welcome, thanks in advance.

Yes, it happens. 

No direct fix bur I advise always keeping weapons and any item which is of major value to you, Hotkeyed to the radial menu as when items dissapear from the inventory sometimes you can still equip from the radial menu; therefore stopping you from losing the item.

1 - notice item missing from inventory 

2 - equip from radial menu

3 - then place item on ground or to bag from hands

4 - item isnt lost and you are able to put it back where it belongs. 

 

Pretty sure if you dont notice at the time and then pick up or move items around your inventory you will just lose this way of being able to save the item though

I've had similar. Opened a box of ammo and it turned invisible in my inventory. Was looking for it on the ground for ages then realised there was a "20" in my Inverntory with no picture.

Different bug, I believe.

 

Ammo and other small item can be 'invisible' in the inventory. 7.62 and .45 mainly for me.

Yeah I've got it again now. It's always 20mm I think. My SVD ammo.
