Character locked in database

Whenever I try to load into a game it always says that my character is locked in the database and then countsdown from 5 and comes up with an error massage

Also having this problem. Can't play the game as there's no way to start a new character

ok so hard resetting the console seems to have sorted it

I’m having the same issue. I’ve done a hard reset. I don’t spoof. It’s getting frustrating.

I've watched other players via mixer play and it seems to me that the number one reason people are getting character locked is because they're trying to server hop like they did pre-update. It also appears that you are given 5-6 chances to change server before this happens so my suggestion to those complaining about this that perhaps you don't server hop. I believe this was implemented to combat the dupers. Not saying the people on this thread are said types of player but if you are I don't have any sympathy for you whatsoever!
