Radio??

So I looted a radio not long ago, but have literally no idea what it does or what I'm supposed to do with it. I can't right click it on my tool belt, so I don't know if I need something else to work along side it or what? Anyone enlighten me on what I'm meant to do with it? :huh::huh::huh:

Probably hacked in. In Arma 2 it lets you communicate with your squad. In DayZ... it does nothing.

Awww I've been wishing they introduced a radio in DayZ and got my hopes up before you said it was hacked in :(

Well, if you hack in AI squadmates... ;)

EDIT: I think it's also possible to have some limited communcations with other players who also have a radio.

So all I can do is press ''0'' and use random radio commands that no-one else except me can see or hear...
