first off let me state that i love the work you guys and gals have done. now with that being said let me add that i also think that a lot of the focus "from what i gather in the status reports" is prioritized in some of the wrong areas at the moment. in my humble opinion. i see that immersion is one of your objectives which is evident in the addition of small rivers and streams. yet rivers and streams is one of those things we can do with out for the time being. i think that extensive over growth, variety in the condition of structures, and even the denseness of foliage would go farther in achieving immersion and a post apocalyptic atmosphere. i find the map to be empty and remote which isnt terrible. yet, i would like to see more cars rekt in some areas like large towns and along large highways. i cant stress the overgrowth enough. i think the right map/enviroment conditions would go a long way in immersion. it gives more character or soul to the land. i would like to believe im in this apocalyptic land. as it stands now it seems more like a testing area for player controller than a living breathing city even for one thats on its l;ast breath. furthermore i think as a community us players would  rather have a playable product before we get new content. after all something that is stable and doesnt get you killed to desync, non-registering of actions, or getting hit by zombies through walls is the thing that matters. so going forward into and following beta i hope you take this into consideration. i understand that building a game is no easy task. in fact its a huge undertaking, and you devs have done a lot of work in the time frame that dayz has been in alpha regardless of the negativity out there. i applaud you for it and you should be proud. i hope my words dont fall on deaf ears. stability over content. all in all i will defend this game and the work that has been done untill you prove me wrong. may that day never come.

with love,

your fellow dayz soul
