Move Controller Support Up Priorities list

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I wanted to ask if we could get controller support moved up the priorities list for Day Z Standalone.

With the latest update we have a much improved system then what was there before, the point where the game is now playable using a gamepad. My personal problem is that some basic stuff is still left off, such as weapon reloading and aiming down sights.

There are a limited number of keys on the pad, but as Elite dangerous has shown, you can map several commands to a single button. The system to tat game is that they have a ‘shift’ key which brings up the alternative commands, with button map flashing up on screen when this is done.

I have been trying to work around these issues for a while. I have Pinnacle Game Profiler but the problem is that Pinnacle commands interfere with the native support and single button presses do two things. One example of this is that pressing down the left stick causes my character to start running AND crouch down. I don’t seem able to turn off native support so I’m stuck in this odd halfway house.

Thanks, and if anyone has any advice on this issue I would also be interested in hearing it.
