Back after 2 years, steam no update 0.50 ?!

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I bought standalone early 2014 and had to off gaming in general for 2 years (ish) around 2014 autumn blabla etc. I thought it would be nice after that amount of time to check how is my fav game improving, but i faced something i can't figure out. I installed the game through Steam and did "delete local content" multiple times but the game still says to me that it's version is 0.50 something(yes zero point five zero). I tried to google it and found a toggletool or whatever it's called but it didn't help. After that i tried the experimentaI branch but aftr the installation battleye got in an infinite loop or something strange: Told me 20+ times that service installation is succesful and still wanted to start the installer. I guess i missed many things in the last two years so please help me.

Thank you very much!

Hello!

1. Try to delete Battle Eye files here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ\BattlEye

2. Verify integrity of game files on Steam.

If these steps do not help you:

Uninstall game and delete all content (files, folders) related to DayZ and install game again.
