Game doesn't start

So yeah, I've purchased dayz yesterday and was so excited until I came across a little problem, well not so little, the game doesn't work. When I turn it on it works just fine I can customize my settings and my character, I can browse through the servers, and when I pick one and start logging on, it shows me the loading screen (a green picture with a city in the backround and it says dayz in the bottom left corner), I can also hear the ambience from the main menu (the birds chirping and the wind blowing) but from that point on it doesn't let me in game. There are no errors, no messages nothing, I can move my mouse but it just doesn't load for some reason. I've already tried reinstalling it, minimizing the settings, playing in windows mode and so on, but it still doesn't start. Help would be really appreciated. 

Also my pc specs are as follows : ram-12gb, nvidia geforce gt650m gpu, intel core 7 2.4 ghz processor so the game should run preety smothely.

Hello,

check / try this:

- try different servers (official, match version etc.)

- latest game version, check in steam for updates

- verify game files in steam

- check / tempor. disable any client firewall / anitvirus programs

- cmd: ping server ip

- battleye running ?
