Aiming at ground?

I just installed DayZ a couple of days ago, but I have a serious bug. Aiming any weapon points it at the dirt in front of me, including a B95 with a hunting scope, the bow, the magnum, and even melee weapons. To aim at horizon level I have to look up at the sky (about 45 degrees above the horizon) which makes it impossible to see what I'm aiming at. I've been through every setting and can't find anything that would change this. I'm running 3440x1440 on a GTX 1070. I tried lowering the resolution to 2560x1080 but that didn't change anything. My mouse is a Corsair M65 Pro if that makes a difference. Everything looks beautiful but this aiming thing is just killing the experience.

Never heard of this one before but I would check over my mouse and keyboard bindings.  Is it possible that your right mouse button is also bound to look down or something else that's interfering?   It used to be that RMB could be bound to two things such as zoom and hold breath simultaneously.  I'm not sure if that's still the case though.  Maybe your spacebar is bound to both raise weapon and look down?

If you're using other software for mouse/key bindings (like logitech mouse software) you might want to have a look there and make sure something isn't borking it up.   Just a thought, good luck.

Holy wow, you nailed it GaryWalnuts. Hold breath and zoom were bound to the RMB by default. Am I the only one to have noticed this? Thanks for the assist.
