Possible error with DayZ

Recommended Posts

OK, so I've been having trouble with DayZ standalone recently. Maybe 10-15 minutes in, my computer crashes with the error message 'IRQL not less or equal'. I've been trying to deal with it under the assumption that it's something wrong with the PC, but without any luck. As it only happens while playing DayZ, I've decided to ask whether or not anyone else is experiencing the same problem. If so, how did you fix it?

A VERY quick search indicates it is most likely a NIC issue.

Check Toms Hardware support forums and you will see quite a long list of people who have had this similar issue and have resolved it. Submit your crash dump for analysis and you should get the answers you need.

If you are not tech-savvy then save yourself (and others) a lot of time and swing it over to a respectable shop to have it sorted out.

Initial impression is that it is, indeed, your PC...and not DayZ.
