I've got the same PC with motherboard being different and able to hold more than the current RAM and I would like to know: Would 8GB RAM give me more FPS over 4GB ram? And if so, how much if specific? (I get currently 40 - 45 FPS) Increasing ram capacity won't increase your FPS significantly. Adding an additional 4 gigs would probably net you a few frames 2-4 fps. What dictates a giant FPS gain is your graphics card. More specifically your GPU and VRAM. The faster the GPU the more FPS you will get. The more VRAM the higher the textures you can render. So in conclusion if you have the money upgrade your ram. Or save the money and get a better graphics card. Side note: Ever since graphics cards VRAM increased significantly a lot of games utilizes the VRAM more so than the RAM. Hope my post helps you out. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
