Shadowing a player in first person using their blind spot to try and hold them up

Have you ever tried blind spot shadowing a player on first person servers?  It can be lots of fun. I was doing it to this guy to try and get him into a position to hold him up.

That would have been great :) But I think he was either his friend who he was meeting up with or a random who was near, by complete chance, and came to investigate after I opened fire :(

I think option 2 is more likely.  It's a shame as the guy I was trying to get back on his feet will never know that it wasn't me who killed him.  It will be fab when we get tasers/dart guns for holdups.
