New 1PP "Hardcore" server

Just put up a server to help encourage players to play on 1st person servers more. There are plenty of "over the shoulder" 3pp servers out there and Ive played on a lot of them. I just feel to get the true "survival" feeling and immersion of DayZ you have to play in 1st person. Plus, if in a PVP encounter, I get a lot more of a challenge in surviving.

No jerk admins who restart servers if they get killed. ( run by adults )

World "server loot" is not wiped, to encourage people to make camps and live.

No weird rules that don't make since. DayZ only needs 1 rule. Survival!!

Consider coming to play and help get the server going. It would be appreciated

Crap, there is another "northwoods"?  I looked before I named it, guess I missed it. But to answer your question, No, the 3pp northwoods is not mine.

That would sum it up pretty good. Except for the no loot part. Been finding pretty good stuff so far lol

 

I just renamed it - ADRENALINE Hardcore - Same IP address of course. Once I settle on a proper name, this will do as a place holder.

Thanks Ebrim.  hope you do give it a try. Its been really stable  ( other than some of the game issues with .60 )  so far. Ive setup a camp with a couple tents and a barrel, my stuff seems to stay there and not glitch out between restarts. Some of the other guys are saying the same thing. So I hope some of the other players who like the 1pp play style will take notice and we get a bunch of people on there.

Let me know how it goes for you if you do decide to get on there.

Yet! I agree, cant call it hardcore if there isn't some night time action.

My fight has been getting max ping setting applied. They either broke it or took it away for .60 and god knows the desync is awful on this patch. f I can get the high pings off, maybe help some.

But YES, there will be a time multiplier probably later tonight when I get home.
