DEVS: Can we have an update on current stable blockers, please?

Recommended Posts

In this critical time, where the hype for 0.60 is going stronger than anyone expected, i think the bi-weekly status report doesn't cut it.

Can we have a few lines on what the current blockers are for the stable push? No ETA or anything. It's just something I think alot of people would appreciate!

PS: I check the forums and Dev's Twitter accounts regularly, sometimes twice a day. If there is some source of more current information, please let me know. :)

Added "please" to sound less like a dickhead.

To clarify: I'm asking this because

a) I can't wait and

b) I have been playing a LOT of 0.60 and had no issues at all (that I would not expect on stable branch)

Sure, the frequency of "unexpected" server-restarts was more than one would like for a "stable" experience but it was manageable (<- omgwtfhowdoyouspellthis?) and to be expected with 10.000 people spamming connects. But everything else was the kind of bugs that didn't break my gaming experience at all.

I've restored and driven 2 cars. I've been looting hotspots, I found 2 Helicopters. I used at least 12 different guns. I went hunting with the bow a lot wich i friggin' LOVED! I saw all the Map updates. I found all kinds of tents and used them. I was hyperthermic and cooled off again. I fought zombies and it felt great. I just plain and simple love 0.60 and would really like to join that experience with my friends.

Do NOT read this "OMG just push it to stable NOW" because that's not what I want. I want it to be a "stable" experience - but we're still in EA and nobody expects it to be a "perfect" experience.

That's why I'd like to hear what the current blockers are from the developers point of view, because me as a player, sure as hell couldn't find any ;)

The devs will most likely not just post up the current stable blockers. You will probably have to wait til the next status report.
