I haven't played DayZ in a long time. Checking it out again after a long stretch of Arma 3 gaming.

Can't find a soul anywhere. This has been my route on full pop servers. I have seen nothing but two deer. Where is everybody? Is there a new hot spot?

I'm gonna continue updating the route until I see someone.. or until .60 hits stable and my guy gets wiped.

Stay on the southern or western side of the map, and below NW Airfield. Your southern leg and Miskino leg are both likely areas on a well populated server.

Elektro and Cherno, I believe, are still fairly well populated, though you have to enjoy murder to really get the most out of those population zones.

Zelenogorsk is generally an excellent one, as well as the area surrounding Myshkino. I run into people in Krasnostav fairly often, and I suspect most groups stash their bases in the woods in the NE section of the map. Kamyshovo is usually bumpin', though it suffers the same issues as Cherno and Elektro. I don't often run into people on the NWAF anymore, though I wouldn't say it's uncommon to see someone there. All the cities surrounding it, especially Vybor and Kabanino. Stary Sobor from time to time.

That's pretty much the list these days. There might still be a bunch of PvP in Berezino, but I haven't felt like checking.

Finally found one.. or two. At NW airfield. Where else?! They're dead.
