cant hear people walking up on me.

i really like this game and i dont want to complain but i just cant hear people around me until they are 10 feet away maybe. i think, i should be able to hear footsteps from farther away. if someone is running 30-40 feet away with heavy boots on, i should be able to hear that. instead all i can hear is my own footsteps VERY loud in my ear and my breathing.

Sometimes it's too loud and sometimes too low, but I never had a problem hearing footsteps, in most situations the opposite. I hear people from a fair distance on most surfaces, certainly 30-40 feet. Footsteps save my life often.
