Tents

Recommended Posts

I started making a base on DayZ and I have a large military tent and a couple normal ones and i shut all the windows and doors on tents and next day i logged on they where all open but nothing was missing. Does that happen on server restart they open or does it mean someone is snooping?

Windows and Doors are currently client-side, and not server side. Which as you can imagine, is a pretty sneaky little issue.

It also turns your cars around after restart, facing north, north-east. Bit annoying when you pack up a car tent and park inside, only to find you can't reverse out of it. Worth checking the direction of cartents before placement.

Yeah, restarts are a gamble with vehicles. Sometimes it'll unglitch them from bad spawns, being stuck in trees, or being flipped over. And other times it'll take a perfectly good vehicle and glitch them out. Throwing them into trees or giving them the stall bug.
