Setting up a Vanilla Dayz server?

Hello,

 

I am currently very interested in hosting my own Dayz Vanilla server.

 

I have looked into a lot of tutorials, but I haven't found a full tutorial that will include everything, with full detail.

 

I would be very happy if someone can guide me into making my own server on a VDS.

 

Most of the tutorials I've seen usually give me links to shady websites that I am not willing to visit.

 

I am also not really interested in Dayz control center.

 

I just want to host a server that has vehicles, and is fully vanilla, and vehicles respawn on server restart whenever it's destroyed.

Are you planning on buying a dedicated Windows server or hosting it on a VPS?

I don't see a reply here so I'll give you what I am using right now. 

Go here and download Dayz Control Center http://dayzcc.org/

It's pretty simple but pretty limited. I am already looking into other ways of hosting but at the very least its easy to set up and get a server online.

Lot's of tutorials around but the one I found was the best was..

There's a video and information in that thread from "Shooting Blanks" that should be a great start for ya.
