zaka99 0 Posted January 3, 2016 What I would suggest is that if you kill somebody, your body starts burning calories faster, stacking the more people you kill and slowly going back to normal. This way people would actually think if it's worth killing somebody or just robbing them, letting them go, would result in much more interesting survival situations and reduce the worlds slowest deathmatch. It would also be realistic, as humans in extreme sitations (like killing somebody) do waste a lot of energy over a short period of time. Guest Posted January 3, 2016 this kinda makes sense, because of adrenaline, etc. no idea how to quantify that though. I've also thought that someone who's been injured (blood loss or a fracture, etc) even after patching themselves up should maybe run slower for a while. it'd make people maybe think twice about going toe to toe with assault rifles, because even if you win moving a tad slower could have dire consequences very soon after. seunome 0 Posted January 3, 2016 This seems like it is just punishing PvP. The community outrage would be ridiculous. Change the framing, though, and it could work. Example: The more time you spend in-game without killing anybody the less calories you could burn.

Cooperation is key but the immaturity of the playerbase has turned it into a slow-paced Counter strike.
seunome 0 Posted January 3, 2016 I totally agree with you, dude. The majority of the community does not agree with you, though. They want desync fixed and FPS improved. They are playing this game like Arma Zombies. And BIS is catering to them. They removed all of the Mod features that helped with KoS frustrations and social interaction in the name of "realism/authenticity" (e.g. humanity, global text chat, HUD, etc.) My advice? Wait until modding support is released sometime in 2016/2017. We can add survival/apocalypse-oriented features like this ourselves. Don't wait around for the DayZ devs to do it because you will just be disappointed...

People never had to interact with eachother because of that stupid global chat , sure tou could make into a group if you shared the same stupid feelings over global but it was mostly just a channel for people to troll over , it didn't help stop KOS one bit.. And as for those stupid skins , they didn't do shit to mitigate KOS... The only real way to mitigate KOS is to add more PVE danger , and to , like the second poster stated , make it so the more injuries you sustain the slower and weaker you become .. So people constantly getting shot will be much slower than someone who stays away from gun fights . Boom . Simple fucking logic with no crappy bias towards the mod fuck up dayz !
