Awful fps 0.59

Hi guys

 

Experiencing severe fps drop since installing the 0.59 patch

 

Usually I run the game completely maxed out on all the setting with good fps, now I have to disable pretty much everything including AA to get similar performance, and even then it runs no where near as good and look absolutely s**t, graphics are terrible. A real shame as it looked great on 0.58

 

Anyone else having the same problem?

I've noticed some improvements with -newui.

Apart from that my game always ran relatively crappy and now my windows 10 is installing weird drivers which makes most of my games run like crap.. so who knows. try the newui if nothing else.

 

(you do that by adding steam launch option "-newui"

thanks for reply, I did try the newui but it messed up my server menus, the headings were all over the place, (players,time etc) so I quickly went back to the original. Its really frustrating as 0.58 ran like a dream and 0.59 runs like crap and have to put my graphics settings on super low.

modified launch options and edited the config after following youtube dayz fps guide, runs like a dream again now on max settings! :D

The 0.59 actually increased my FPS

You must reset your video options after each new patch IMO (to what they were previously)

There are (many!) video-setting guides on these Forums, if you need them.

0.59 seems good now thanks, and I shall browse the forums for video setting guides to try squeeze a few more fps out!
