My guess is you turned all the GPU settings up to max just to see what it could do?

what fps were you getting with the old motherboard?

XFIRE doesnt work all that well in bis games. Also do this. Object detail medium. AA low, PP off, motion blur off, you should be able to party with the rest of the settings to the wood.

Another poor soul, welcome to AMD FX#### Club... Swap out that CPU for an i3 or i5, something with powerful two/four cores. you did like myself and many others, bought 8 thinking it was better. In reality it is, for professional work and such, I can run two/three games at once on this sucker at decent performance with it over-clocked, watch a movie in Chrome, forget and go back to play War Thunder after with minimal problems after it's up a moment. But gaming itself is still last generation, 6+ cores does not compute. Use the search function next time, though I know it's easier just to ask. But someone has posted about this regularly since I got here back in Feb 2015. Devs have improvements on the way with Enfusion I believe, it looks to be an impressive flexibly scripted open-world engine. You'll just have to join me in waiting patiently, at least most of the waiting is over I think.  :D

as stated by others, you have several problems here.

- DayZ is 'optimized' for Intel CPU architecture

- the DayZ Engine is crap so it doesn't matter HOW fast your system is

-  AMD is not meant for gaming, Intel is and will always be market leader in gaming.

So all in all? solution:

- buy intel CPU components

- wait for the devs to actually make an engine that works propperly

- better rendering system so your SLI will actually have some logic to it.

- o yeah and did I mention the Game engine is crap atm? so wait for a better one

My setup:

Intel Core i5 3570K (4.2 ghz overclock)

gigabyte Z77 D3H Mobo

16 gigs of Corsair vengeance 1600 mhz

Nvidea GTX 660 TI

Antec Kuhler 620 (watercooling)

havent played since 0.53 but I had 29 fps back then in cherno and about 46 in the wilderness (everything max)

Seems i have a problem with crossfire with the last dayz update. Before last update, crossfire worked.

Now, when i look to the ground vsync off @4k :

Crosfire activated : 45fps

Crossfire desactivated : 111fps

Seems only one card works for now.

My config :

Intel i7 4790k @4.4

Asus maximus vii hero Z97

16G Ram ddr1600 7 8 8 24

2x radeon r9 390x

Woah! If you start your system, they need to put some more Uran in the nearest power plant.
