Tents, additions for hiding them on the map

Since we have outposts along the roads, concrete barriers etc.. I think we need to have the ability to make netting to go over top of the tents to hide them from others.

 

Since i have been playing stable .59 i have found over 20 tents, goods etc.. and they all stand out perfectly. Nobody is safe.

For some of us, we like to store items. This is the intent with tents and barrels and base building.

 

So i would like to see gillie tent wraps to hide them from open view.

 

Its not difficult to do, sine there is netting huts already in the pbo. We should have the materials to make something then place with the drop down menu Open windows, close door flap, and put netting on tent.

If anything else.

 

Even painting the tents, making it camo or something to blend in. You need 100% black, and 100% green. Shouldn't be difficult to add to the crafting.

 

Now not everyone is thinking military here, i am thinking of just hiding your wares.

I think that would be a great idea, but that will come eventually once base building is a thing. Maybe out of the devs schedule at this point. Expect it sometime in 2016.

I've had similar thoughts myself. I find tents constantly, in pristine condition they stick out terribly.

Another idea would be to allow pitching tents on slopes such as hills. Right now good tent spots are easily found.

Yep they need to do something about base building tents stick out a mile even the mil one.  I tend to use barrels scattered around the map and even they get found quit regularly.  Dean Hall said he would like you to think about whether you would steal or not if you found some ones camp like the time he was in the army and found some ones camp and left it alone.  Well I can say people in this game have no problems in stealing even if they are items you can get after a little searching.  And I have to say I steal from other peoples camps as I have been stolen from so often I have no qualms in doing it.
