Can anyone give me tips where i can find weapons ?

Hey i started playing DayZ yesterday and i got raped and raped by zombies trying to sneaking into cities and finding weapons to defend myself. If i aggro one zombie i am dead. So do anyone have any tips where i can locate some weapons ? Thanks

Try Berezino it's a decent place for someone new to the game. You have to learn how to sneak around zombies and how to lose zombie aggro. That will save your life more then a gun.

Sprint to a main city like cherno; head for pubs/supermarkets and high loot buildings, You will at least have a Winchester, pistol and some decent tool's to make your way to a better area.

The Barns with the red roofs 75% of the time have Shotguns + Rifles. Keep an eye out for them.

slow crawl and slow crouch walk...default button should be hold down shift to slow your pace. you know you're doing it right if there are no bars next to the ear. try to keep at least a 10-15 meter (avoid that at all cost, but sometimes they walk pretty close) cushion between you and a zombie in prone position while slow crawling.
