My Party Bus Experience

My 0.59 experience on stable server from thursday night. I wanted to repair a bus and there has been interesting encounters. Video is quite long, but I think it was really worth it, finding this many people won't happens too often, especially on stable and I was really surprised seeing that. I don't want to spoil anything though, I worked on it for last days, I hope video is entertaining.

 

Proper bus ride starts at 3:35, for those who don't want to watch the start. I always appreciate any opinion, even if it's negative it really helps.

There is no negative criticism - just constructive criticism ;)

If you repair the wheels, the bus stops sliding and accelerates better. Unfortunately, double-wheels cannot be repaired - but you can find pristine ones. 

 

I liked this guy gave thumbs up as a hitchhiker gesture - very creative :)!

Also nice with the guy on the silo, who you saved (from respawning). That actually gave me the idea to try if I can get on a bus to "surf" it ^^ Gonna try that!

That guy panicking after the flashbang - priceless:)!

 

I will never shoot at a bus on the coast, because this is what buses should be used for! Hell, I'll probably never shoot at a bus, even if it passes me!

What I want to try next, is to put a defibrillator and epi-pen in the bus, so if someone survives an assault, they could perhaps revive you!

 

Another good idea seems to be to have two guards with you, who get out whenever the bus stops. This way you are less vulnerable to attacks and idiots. (passengers get off faster than the driver)

 

Do you know, if a fire barrel can be moved? Then you could just always take it along in the bus' inventory. 

 

Better mix with the music this time and the fonts look good, sometimes the people were a bit hard to hear, because the engine is so loud. You can always turn down the engine sounds a little bit when driving (or turn VOIP up some more.) Nice to see so many people together! Enjoying your videos as always!

I wrote everything in a hurry. I just realised this sentence doesn't make any sense. Thanks for correcting me.

I always forget turning down effects while I am driving. Vehicles are very loud indeed, I hope it will change soon with new sound system.

 

This guard idea is really great, but as you can see most of the people there didn't have any weapons and everything was completly random and not planned. There's always dickheads who wants to kill you even if you have fun, but that's just dayz. If they will implement shooting while driving that would really help with protecting yourself. Right now even if you have guards they need to leave first and by that time someone can shot them really easly.

Barrel can be moved for sure, I don't know if you can do it after making hole in it. Defibrillator is a good thing, but most of the time you are being killed and then no one can help you, if you are unconscious there's a good chance you will wake up without defibrillator.
