Dayz not starting but it's "running"

After 0.59 EXP patch, I downloaded it and played on it for a while. Everything was working fine. Then I decided to go back to the stable branch; but the game stopped working. I start the game (it sometimes gets stuck on battleye stuff) but the game shows it as if its running in my steam library. When I go onto my Windows Task Manager >> Processes - it shows DayZ.exe with only 188k memory usage and DayzBE.exe with around 1298k. 

 

I tried, uninstalling - the situation remained the same.

I tried to uninstall and delete configuration files - the situation remained.

I tried opening other games while dayz was "running" it gave me a blue screen.

I tried ending the process from task manager, it wouldn't.

 

Please help me out, I really miss the game. Its been a week since I played it last :'(

Dumb question. But have you restarted your computer and tried?
