Bandwidth per hour

So does anyone know what kind of data usage DayZ needs to run? I'm on mobile internet for the next week and was wondering if anyone ever took metrics...

 

Google tells me it works out about 130 megabytes an hour? Is this figure from 2014 still valid?

hi,

 

i cant give you solid numbers, but i used to play dayz via mobile half a year ago. 130mb seems a bit high to me, from what i remember its been clearly less than 50.

I'll start a log and see, (I have to anyway :P ) but initial figures seem to fall well below the above. :thumbsup:

 

EDIT: So pleasantly surprised and very happy so far. Over the first six hours I recorded 15 megabytes average per hour (+/- 10%) on a medium to low pop server with no player interaction. Though I did kill about 20 infected in Nowy Sobor.

 

Going to need to get better software to adequately monitor DL/UP on each system process rather then all LAN traffic in one but looking good!
