Tracked and displayed kills/deaths

I came across a server that is recording and displaying peoples kills and deaths, some people are saying that it is against the rules, is that true? Personally I think it is a cool feature for a community, if it is not against the rules, can someone tell me how it's done?

I'm confused as it seems a popular feature on this server, and has been going for a while now. What about if you got the players to agree to it first, like on a private community server, would that still be against the rules?

It would still be against the rules. As mentioned, the admins are only allowed access to the admin/BEC logs for banning/rule enforcement purposes.

Direct display of kills is not allowed. What can be done is giving your players certain badges that indicate how many they killed ;)

 

EDIT: when these badges are part of your server rules ofc :D
