Is This Lag?

Recommended Posts

I used a couple of the stickys  in here, and changed my graphic settings and I must say quality is very nice, between 25-40 fps not too bad.

Just have 2 annoyinh things happening, 1 is a stutter step i guess, that is consitent and never stops, another is a lighting efffect during opening screen, and when ever i open an ingame window.

I did make a video of it.

You will see the "stutter" step in the first part of video.

any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated ty

You can also start DayZ. Then you open the task manager. Go to DayZ and right click it. Choose "go to process". Rightclick the process and choose priority and set it to "high".

This gives me about 5-15 more fps.

Also try starting DayZ in administrator mode.

EDIT: it does not seem to be server lag or rubber banding in the video

My computer is ancient and need every little bit of help I can get, two things that were giving me a stutter that I could fix were.

If you have a nvidia g-card there's a process called nvxdsync.exe I believe which is the process for the shield tablet to stream, kill it but you must be in task manager as an administrator.

There's a windows process called wmpsync or something to that effect that handles media sharing on home networks, kill it like above.
