Problem whit GPUS

hello survivors i have an apu a10 6790k with integrated graphics ( i use to play day z with it ) but today i buy an 960 and whats happening is that day z sa is the only game that dont recognize the 960 !! and still plays with integrated graphics ( shitty gpu) someone help please. thank you ( sorry for my bad english, i am portuguese, cristiano ronaldo !! )

This also you need to have the card powered (It's been a problem before on here when somebody had the card but not a 6 pin to it) and the settings up high enough that it'll use the GPU.

Hey patinha98 you just have to set your main gpu in the 3d settings.

the card is good, its a 6 pin to 8 its all good

Try starting DayZ. Then you open the task manager. Go to DayZ and right click it. Choose "go to process". Rightclick the process and choose priority and set it to "high".

Also try starting DayZ in administrator mode.

Have you tried/can you disable from device manager? Been a while since I've dealt with integrated graphics.

 

Another option could be to "add" the game to your Nvidia Experience app if it isn't there yet. For optimization.

 

Worst come to worst you could try a clean driver sweep on both your gpus and just reinstall the nvidia drivers,
