darkrider400 76 Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) As the title says, the game stutters VERY BADLY upon entering a server. I didn't used to have a problem with it, but that was a while ago. It happens on any server I try and join. I'll join it, it goes through the usual loading, the UI for the Hotkeys will show up with super-low-res items, and it'll stutter super hard when trying to load the world around me, like Im talking maybe a frame every 10 seconds. This lasts for about a minute and a half before it loads properly. My system is completely within the requirements, and I even have my graphics set lower just in case. Specs:AMD 8120 Eight-Core CPUAMD R9 270X 4gb GPU8gb of ramWindows 10 (I feel like this might be a part of the problem)1TB Harddrive (Did a comeplete system re-format a few weeks ago, so plenty of space)AVG antivirus (maybe part of the problem?) Also, I've heard about Steam Overlay in other games making them run badly, could that be part of the issue? Edit: Nevermind, I put some Launch Parameters in (maxVram, maxMem, CpuCount, Threadcount, etc) it seems to have fixed it. I'll try that because I have a good 30 seconds of extreme lag and slow loading of higher LODs when logging in and always just accepted it was my old hardware. Knitdeath 5 Posted October 19, 2015 This is pretty common and happens too most people in my experience. It does this for me almost every time i load in. If you have an SSD putting DayZ on your SSD will speed up load times and potentially fix the stuttering. I dont have an SSD right now so i can test for you sorry. The new render-er should help with this too when it is implemented. Goodluck.
