thEchicagoBoy 54 Posted October 4, 2015 I only have two questions. First: I play on a first person server. Whenever I stand still, or aim with my weapon, my hands/body is shaking and I can't aim properly. Why is this? Second: When will the developers optimize the game so it can be played with less lag, etc. I think you know what I mean.
GaryWalnuts 1680 Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) 1) You probably have the cold bug (when your character is cold but it doesn't show you in the status). Sit next to a fire and warm up for a few minutes. Make sure you're close enough that you see "I am promptly warming up" or "I am rapidly warming up" but not so close that your burn yourself. I believe others have reported that this can also happen with a broken or chipped bone (that doesn't show in status) I'd take a shot of morphine or apply a splint and see if that helps.2) I believe the major optimizations are waiting until some of the bigger changes, like the new renderer, have taken place. Doing optimization prematurely would just be a waste of time and resources because they'd probably have to do it all over again after the renderer is in. XibaRootS 40 Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) first: because the sway in this game is remotely out of reality. ( Wich makes me very frustated, since sometimes you cant even hit a person in the chest with the fucking gun because you're too tired, doesn't make any sense to me) second: they say january. but i personaly dont think we'll ever see this game hit more than 60 stable frames. Death By Crowbar 1213 Posted October 6, 2015 1) If you've been running your sway (and breath) will be far greater. When you stop and stand or lie still for a minute it will decrease and you'll have better aim. Above and beyond being cold, having a fractured/broken arm, etc that may be your problem. 2) We're in Early Access Alpha phase of the game, they've not really started optimizing it yet. If you notice, it's using a TON of CPU rather than offloading onto your GPU. A bigger graphics card doesn't necessarily mean better experience with DayZ in it's current form, but as they enter Beta and get closer to full release that will change as they start to optimize it.
