Effects Audible in Left Earmuff Only

Hi. I got a new headset, the Plantronics RIG 7.1 Surround headset, and in DayZ effects are only audible in the left earmuff. A prominent example of this problem is footsteps. In 1st and 3rd person, I can only hear footsteps through the left earmuff. However, when in 1st person and when my view is centered, I can hear the sound of footsteps through both the left and right earmuffs. Thanks for your help.

Might be a problem on your end but could well be due the the current audio system not being worked on as such.

• Left earpiece sound volume is lowered sometimes. (was acknowledged some time ago).

The whole audio system is being worked on so you may have to wait until it is ready, unless someone can confirm otherwise.

if possible, i would try to disable surround.

What's weird is that my surround sound is not working. Only the stereo function of my headset is working.
