[FIX] #1 FPS FIX IN ARMA 2 OA!

Hey awesome Arma 2 OA community!

So happy I can post here and share an amazing fix AES-Staff has found!

I know this sounds like commercializing us, BUT I want to give credit for the long hours spent! I hope this is understandable.

 

So, it is very easy!

 

Open DayZ Launcher

Go to Settings

Scroll down to Startup Parameters

Insert: -winxp -malloc=tbb4malloc_bi 

Done! Enjoy much better FPS. 

This has been tested on our servers but should work on any Arma 2 OA based mod!

 

!READ BELOW FOR EVEN MORE FPS!

 

We also have some additional tweaking which will give you another FPS boost of about 10-20fps on top of those! 

But since these adjustments are dependet on your hardware you will have to join our ts3 and we will be happy to help you!

Can't confirm if this is true, as I don't intend on playing OA anymore, however if this is true, thanks for posting it, I'm sure those who need it are grateful c:

Happy to hear, players on our server have confirmed it so far, so i hope it counts for other servers as well! :)

 

 (but I can only promise that to 99.9% since we have only had people from out community do the testing)
