Need help with server start time

Hello. :)

 

I want to set a custom time for the server to start at, but the format requires a date as well. Does that date matter, or should I just pick a random one?

probably just matters in terms of time of year, which would impact the time the sun rises and falls. (I've at least noticed as much when making missions in Arma 3).

Are you on about restart times? Or having your server start at a specific time like each day or something like that?

The second one. I want it to start at 6am after each restart, instead of realtime.

Right now the server is always using realtime clock after each restart. I want it so that after each restarts, the server time is at 6am instead.

It's a public server, but I'm pretty sure I can change the start time. The option is there, but I don't know what to set the date as.

I am sure it is out of your hands now since 0.58 man, as the devs handle the restarts if I am right, I will have a look what I can find and get back to you. What company are you with?

In the Time Settings section there's an option called "Server Time Type", which I can set to "Custom" instead of "System Time". But then in the field below it the format requires a year, month, day, in addition to the time. And I got no idea what I should set the date as.

Ah right ok, I am with them too but a private server. As I see it it doesn't matter what you set the date too, as it only affects the loading screen, default is October something I think, so you can change it to what ever you like. If your not too sure you can always send the GD guys a support ticket, I know it says they are there between 10:00 - 22:00 but I just got a reply so they are about :)

It was my friend who sent the ticket so I don't know exactly what they said. But they did something with the server time and told us to repair the file system permission, and now it's working. :)

I used that exact format, but apparently it was just some problem with the server files.
